These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Social Forge, a social media automation platform ("Service") operated by Social Forge ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Social Forge, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Social Forge. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • If using on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

  • AI-powered content generation using various LLM providers
  • Analytics and performance tracking

  • API access for developers
  • Marketplace for buying and selling social media services
  • RSS feed automation
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Social Forge to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Post or transmit unauthorized advertising or spam
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
  • Distribute viruses or malicious code
  • Violate the terms of service of connected social media platforms
  • Scrape or harvest data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Post automated content that doesn't represent authentic creator content
  • Violate TikTok Community Guidelines or other platform-specific rules
  • Attempt to circumvent platform posting limits or restrictions
  • Use the Service to post content without explicit user consent

6. Third-Party Services

Social Forge integrates with numerous third-party services including social media platforms (such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and others) and AI providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

You are responsible for:

  • Complying with each platform's terms of service
  • Ensuring you have necessary permissions to post content
  • Managing your API keys and access tokens securely
  • Maintaining compliance with platform-specific guidelines and policies

TikTok Integration

If you use our TikTok integration features, you specifically agree to:

  • Comply with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • Only post authentic, original content to TikTok
  • Review all AI-generated content before posting to TikTok
  • Provide explicit consent before each post to your TikTok account
  • Accept that our integration may be audited by TikTok for compliance
  • Understand that violations may result in immediate revocation of integration access

7. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create and post through Social Forge. By using our Service, you grant us a license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the Service
  • Post content to your connected social media accounts as directed
  • Generate AI-enhanced content based on your prompts
  • Display your content within the Service interface

Our Intellectual Property

The Social Forge platform, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of our Service.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated using our AI features may be subject to additional terms from the AI providers. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with any AI-generated content before posting.

8. Payment and Billing

If you purchase a paid subscription:

  • You agree to pay all fees according to your selected plan
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the billing period
  • No refunds for partial billing periods
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

9. API Usage

If you use our API:

  • You must comply with our API documentation and rate limits
  • API keys must be kept secure and not shared
  • We may throttle or suspend API access for abuse
  • Commercial use of the API requires a commercial license

Platform-Specific Limitations

When using our service to post to social media platforms:

  • TikTok: Maximum 15 posts per day per account
  • Unaudited TikTok integrations can only post privately (SELF_ONLY view)
  • You must manually select privacy settings for each post (no defaults)
  • Content must be reviewed and explicitly approved before posting
  • We reserve the right to implement additional restrictions to maintain compliance

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Social Forge is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Social Forge from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you post through the Service

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users or the Service
  • At our sole discretion for any reason

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
